The fastest safe gifting workflow
Short answer: Give one test item, then check the character's relationship panel. The game records discovered reactions, so your own save becomes the most reliable list for that character.
- Start with an inexpensive item rather than a rare crop or crafted product.
- Read the reaction and immediately check the relationship panel.
- Record loved and liked items separately; do not treat a pleasant line as proof by itself.
- Keep one confirmed loved item for birthdays, when community testing reports a much larger bonus.
